About Erika Flores:

Erika Flores is a first generation Mexican-American who was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Erika speaks fluent Spanish and was recently sent to San Miguel De Allende, Guanajuato to work for a civil attorney, enrich her Spanish, and learn the cultural differences between being an attorney in the United States versus Mexico. She regularly visits family in Coahuila, Mexico.

Erika attended The University of Texas at Austin where she studied Philosophy and Sociology and graduated in 2018. Erika then went on to attend Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated in May of 2021. Erika became licensed in the state of Texas in October of 2021.

Erika has always wanted to pursue a career in criminal law because she strives to help individuals in her community. Being a criminal defense attorney affords her the opportunity to be a voice for clients who face injustices within the criminal justice system. Erika thoroughly takes the time to get to know her clients so she can better advocate for them.

In her first month of practice, Erika attended an intensive four-day Advanced Trial Skills Training in Round Top, Texas. The course was designed to help attorneys improve their ability to communicate with clients, discover their story, and connect with the jury. Erika plans to take numerous other intensive trial skill training sessions in an effort to best defend her clients.

When she is not in court representing her clients or at the office working on cases, Erika enjoys cooking, taking her Dachshund, Simon, on walks, and spending time with loved ones.
