Phillip Hall

Attorney at Law

Phillip Hall is a second generation Mexican-American who grew up in Los Angeles California. Phillip studied Political Science with an Emphasis in International Relations at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). In December of 2010, Phillip made his way out to Texas to pursue his legal education at Texas A&M University School of Law. While in law school, Phillip took an interest in criminal law. Phillip served as President of the Innocence Project and was on the board of the Intellectual Property Law Association.

Phillip’s experience includes assignments at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office where he was assigned to the Felony Family Violence Unit and a subsequent assignment in the 292nd District Court. In his last semester of law school, Phillip was part of the Tarrant County District Attorney’s 14 Week Criminal Prosecution Clinic where he was assigned to the 371st District Court. Through this clinic, Phillip received weekly lectures from a plethora of prosecutors, presented cases to the Grand Jury, and actively worked on criminal cases.

Phillip’s legal areas of interest include Criminal, Immigration and some civil. Phillips hobbies include weight lifting, attending music festivals, playing music (mainly the guitar) and muscle cars.

Although recently licensed, Phillip has held a Bar Card since January 2014 that has allowed him to practice under the supervision of a licensed attorney. Through this mentoring, Phillip has three first-degree Felony Jury trials under his belt as of December 2014.

Phillip is currently licensed to practice law in Texas, and speaks fluent Spanish.
